Origins of Godzilla

Originally it was a film done in Tokyo under the name Gojira, I believe; the japanese combo for whale and gorilla. Later, America remade the movie and entitled it Godzilla. If you don't know he is a radioactively altered dinosaur that is almost impenetrable and capable of breathing fire (or at least some ignitable poisonous gas). But I was more interested in what the suffix "zilla" stood for. I found that it is a plant that grows in the Egyptian desert...interesting. Also, simply it means little. So, little god.

Here is one to riddle over my dream interpretting firends. A man is standing before me. Not threatening, but not friendly. After staring at each other for Oh so long I reach up and pull his eyes out and put them in my mouth. I roll them around awhile before biting once and swallowing. The man just stands there. I walk away. He is still standing there today. Just staring ahead. Eyeless. I awoke with a feeling that we would meet again in a dream. I also had the feeling that next time it would be my eyes that were taken. As I went on through the day I had a vision of me and this man staring at each other, eyeless. Crazy stuff lives in the world of the sleeping awake.

Indeed...I tend to prefer the sleeping world for the simple reason that it is not limited to rationality. And there's the paradox for it is all the more real. Well, I would simply ask who this man is, especially if you're to meet him again. I would also ask what you're seeing differently or need to see differently. But I think after you discern who he is, then the rest will follow. Because he could *steal* your vision or he could replace your old way of seeing things.

and just to add to the little fray...

I had a dream recently that was too in-depth to relate here, so maybe it will appear on me own blooooooog, but essentially involved people in a factory/assembly plant doing their thing (well and effectively, I might add)... then it all being horribly altered on them so that the assembly plant became a closed-in concentration camp, complete with poison gas showers appearing. The thing was, no one understood what was happening... as in they were all together (or in their respective departments), working well, then suddenly these metal walls of the plant were turning into cinder block and rooms were appearing and partitioning off the sections of people. I was in the control room of this plant, or the room that overlooked all operations, along with a woman who was responsible for all of this stuff happening. She basically threw a bunch of levers and pushed a bunch of buttons on the panels that set this huge well hidden, well laid trap into motion. I was locked in there with her, totally against my will, totally by surprise, watching everything through the windows in the control room at first, then after they had been barred over (shutters closed them off), I watched everything in monitors, screaming "NOOOOO" from the depths of me as I watched people I knew (not specific people that I can remember now, but people that I know were familiar in the dream) get taken by surprise. In fact, I saw what was happening (especially the gas shower room part) before they did or at least realized what was going on, and the "NOOOOO" I was screaming was related to the situation and for what they would inevitably suffer in this place.

There was more before and after the dream but that was the part I wanted to mention here... check my blog for more when I post it!

Peace... as in peace to your inner man... for strength and clarity in this war zone of babylon we live through daily on the outside, soulish (mind/will/emotions), spiritual level.

Peace to you.

um... that previous post wasn't to avoid or disregard your post sheamus, just was on my mind from talking to someone about it recently and adding it in a place where some flow of dreams were coming about... perhaps this dream material would serve well for another blog for us all to contribute to regarding dreams... something to consider...

i would basically encourage some of the questions that mad frenchie was suggesting... also consider other details you might be leaving out that seem insignificant but are key things you remember... like colors, setting, other things around you, where he was standing, thoughts you had in the dream while this was going on... and more as you might recall.
