A Dream

So last night I dreamed I was walking through some water at night, a lake that wasn't too deep even though I was pretty far off from shore. But I got scared that eels were going to attack me so I ran back to shore. But once there I saw a huge snake and it started moving toward me. I ran but the thing only moved faster. I came to a hill and running up it was too hard. As the snake got near to me, I turned and with a long staff, just smashed its head over and over.

Ready for the dream interpretation? :

Eels - To see an eel in your dream, indicates that you have issues with commitment. It also means that you have problems holding on to things.

Lake - To see a lake in your dream, signifies your emotional state of mind.

Snakes - To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you.

Killing the snake - to dream that you are fighting with an animal signifies a hidden part of yourself that you are trying to reject and push back into your subconscious.

Soooooo Frenchie...what emotions/fears have you been fighting internally with lately?

well...according to streams snakes are lies (long tail/tale). I know what lie I've bee fighting of late. Water usually is symbolic of the Spirit and night- warfare. Eels I imagine are probably fears, I never really saw them, they were only in my mind (or I saw only their ripples). But if I take your interpretation...lol...we'll just say same old same old. ;)

Yeah, I can't really say I take any dream interpreter at face value. I do think some people are gifted in interpreting dreams...but I hesistate to ever say there is a 1-to-1 correlation to most any symbol in a dream.

Does Streams use Biblical evidence to back up their interpretations? Rather, are there parts of the Bible that say "if you dream about dogs, that means you have a flea problem.." or something like that? If so, I would definately be interested in attending their next class...

...otherwise, I'm not sure I would understand the difference between their interpretation and someone else...except that they're Christians.

yeah... alot of stuff they get from the Bible and then some stuff they get from the Spirit...ie people gifted in that specific area. but they do say there's not a de-coder. it's about relationship with God. they merely teach you how to think outside the box and perhaps more in line with the Spirit.
